- We collect your photos, the names and notes you type, your email, and payment details (handled by Stripe, never stored by us).
- We use them only to make and deliver your video and to support you.
- Photos and source files are deleted 30 days after delivery. You can ask us to delete them sooner.
- If you choose to save characters to My cast, we keep only those drawings (never the photos) until you delete them.
- We never use your photos or video in marketing without your written permission, and we never sell your data.
- LoveMotion is for adults. Do not upload photos of children.
Who we are
LoveMotion ("we", "us") makes personalized animated videos from photos you provide. Contact: support@lovemotion.co.
What we collect
- Order details: the names, occasion, captions, and closing message you enter.
- Photos: the images you upload, plus the moment tags and notes you attach to them.
- Saved characters (optional): if you choose to keep characters in My cast, the drawn character, its name and style, the film it came from, and when you confirmed consent.
- Contact: your email address, used for order updates and delivery.
- Payment: processed by Stripe. We receive a confirmation and the last four digits of your card, never the full number.
- Technical: standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) kept for security and debugging.
How we use it
To create your video, deliver it, answer support requests, process refunds, and prevent abuse. Your photos are processed by our own rendering systems and, where noted at checkout, by third-party AI providers acting on our instructions. We do not use your photos to train models.
Photos, AI, and likeness
Our videos are generated with AI from the photos you upload, so the people in them will be recognizable. By ordering, you confirm that you have the right to use the photos and that every person shown knows about the video and is okay with appearing in it. We will remove a video, delete the source photos, and delete any saved character of them if a person shown asks us to.
Saved characters (My cast)
After a film is delivered, you can choose to keep its approved characters in My cast, so a later film can star them without new photos. This is off unless you turn it on for each person, and you confirm that everyone you save has agreed to be kept for future films.
- What we keep: the drawn character (the illustrated sheet you approved), the name you gave it, its style, and the film it came from. We do not keep the photos: they are still deleted 30 days after delivery, like every other order.
- Who can see it: only you, in your account, and our team when they make a film you order with it. Saved characters are never public and never used for anything else.
- How long: until you delete it. Delete anyone in My cast at any time and the drawing is deleted for good. Films you have already made keep their own copy until those films are deleted.
If someone you saved changes their mind, delete them from My cast, or email us and we will do it for you.
Adults only
LoveMotion is for people aged 18 and over and the adults in their lives. We do not knowingly collect photos or information from anyone under 18. If we learn that an order contains a child's photo, we will cancel it, refund it, and delete the files.
How long we keep it
- Uploaded photos and intermediate render files: deleted 30 days after delivery.
- Characters you save to My cast: kept until you delete them, or until you ask us to delete your account.
- Your finished video: kept for 90 days so you can re-download it, then deleted.
- Order records (names, email, amount, dates): kept as long as required for tax and accounting.
Email us at any time to have your photos and video deleted early.
Who we share it with
Only service providers needed to run LoveMotion: payment processing (Stripe), email delivery, cloud hosting and storage, and GPU rendering providers. Each is bound to use your data only to provide their service to us. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with advertisers.
Marketing and showcasing videos
We would love to show off your video, but we only do so with your explicit written permission, which you can withdraw at any time.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. If you are in California, the EU, or the UK, you have additional rights under local law, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. Email us and we will respond within 30 days.
Security
Uploads and downloads are encrypted in transit. Files are stored in access-controlled storage and delivery links are private and unguessable. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not upload anything you would not want exposed in a breach.
Changes
We will post any changes here and update the date above. Material changes will be emailed to recent customers.
